Street Experiments happen in different ways for different reasons. The Open Streets movement are about the opening of the streets to the public in a specific day of the week for recreation and social interaction and it is spreading all over the world. Cities such as Bogota, Cape Town, Mexico City and New York City are already part of it. São Paulo’s most important street, the Paulista Avenue, opens up for millions and it offers many leisure activities on Sundays and holidays. A tunnel that on a regular day is occupied by motorized vehicles, welcomes then skaters and, once in a while, a huge audience for concerts and parties.
