An innovative, outdoor dining solution in Chicago named “Dining Together, Apart” invites Chicagoans to dine outdoors comfortably and safely in pods, some shaped as igloos, some like mini greenhouses.
The project began on Oct. 16, 2020 in Fulton Market — home of popular Chicago restarurants. A temporary chalk street mural designed by famed artist Shepard Fairey’s Studio One to bring an artful approach to social distancing and collective-yet-safe dining.
The project was developed by WCA’s partnership with the Illinois Restaurant Association and Stella Artois.
What do you think about this strategy — in quickly adapting to the pandemic?
