City Repair Project

Portland, USA ,1997

Ever wondered what some colour on a street intersection can do? A lot!

Operating out of Portland since 1997, The City Repair Project is supporting inclusive and sustainable community development through reclaiming public space, sometimes simply using paint. They are actively combining civic engagement, community-initiated ecological development and tactical urbanism.
Over the years they have transformed many places throughout the Portland Metro area. They also provide a full list of their projects, past and present. For more information on that head to —https://villagebuildingconvergence.com/vbc-projects-map/— Can these neighborhood interventions enable a different way of experiencing community and mobility?
